RockitX (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates rockitx.com and related products including the RockitX AI Chatbot platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

• Account data — name, email, password (stored hashed), and business details when you sign up for our services.
• Chatbot usage — messages visitors send to embedded chatbots, session identifiers, and optional contact details (email or phone) if a visitor chooses to share them.
• Booking data — appointment date, time, and contact details when a visitor books through the in-chat calendar.
• Payment data — billing is processed by Razorpay; we receive payment status and order references, not full card numbers.
• Google Calendar (optional) — if a business admin connects Google Calendar, we store OAuth tokens securely to check availability and create calendar events on the admin’s behalf. We do not read unrelated calendar data beyond what is needed for booking.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, and usage logs for security, abuse prevention, and service reliability.

3. How we use information

• Provide, operate, and improve our websites and AI products.
• Answer visitor questions using uploaded business documents (knowledge base).
• Schedule appointments and sync them to a connected Google Calendar when enabled.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions or prepaid credits.
• Send service-related communications and respond to support requests.
• Detect fraud, enforce limits, and protect our platform.

4. Google OAuth

When you choose “Connect Google Calendar”, you authorize RockitX to access your Google Calendar for:

• Checking free/busy times so visitors cannot double-book.
• Creating events (including Google Meet links) when a booking is confirmed.

You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the admin panel. We use Google’s API services subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with:

• Infrastructure and AI providers needed to run the service (hosting, LLM APIs, payment processors).
• Google, when you connect Calendar or use Google-related features.
• Authorities when required by law.

6. Data retention

We retain account and booking data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and support purposes. You may request deletion of your account data by emailing us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, access controls, and hashed passwords. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Your rights

9. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
